We were approached to create and unify the brand identity for BlackOnyx Group and its associated property companies, delivering a cohesive system that aligned multiple brands under a single, considered vision. The brief required both the creation of new identities and the evolution of existing ones to reflect a shared standard of quality and ambition.

Brand Strategy & Audience Alignment.

We delivered a full brand strategy rooted in audience analysis, ensuring each company could speak to its specific market while contributing to a wider group narrative. By defining clear positioning, tone and visual hierarchy, we created a framework that supports both individuality and long-term scalability.

Identity Creation & Evolution.

We first built the Oak & Olive Homes brand from inception, establishing a refined, luxury identity inspired by heritage architecture and timeless living. This success led to the wider group commission, where we evolved existing brand BlackOnyx into a unified system.

We transformed the ‘X’ within the BlackOnyx identity into a central design device, creating a flexible visual language that connects each sub-brand through consistent typography, proportion, and structure.

We then developed Sapling & Stone Homes as a complementary brand within the group, introducing a distinct yet aligned identity. Using shared design principles, we ensured cohesion across the portfolio while allowing each brand to retain its own personality and market positioning.

We delivered the full ecosystem across brand guidelines, digital platforms and printed collateral. Every touchpoint was considered to ensure consistency and impact. This resulted in a scalable brand architecture designed to grow alongside the business.
